Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a molecule that encodes the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and many viruses.

DNA extraction is a process of purification of DNA from sample using a combination of physical and chemical methods. Currently DNA extraction is a routine procedure in molecular biology or forensic analyses.

Forensic science has become something of fashionable part of entertaining TV shows like CSI but the procedures and techniques have real world application whether it be to catch a criminal or to determine what lead to the a specific event posthumously.

Forensic analysis is fun, engaging experience for our cohorts.
